Open Day at the Sanctuary May

We are delighted to announce our first Open Day of 2024 on Sunday 5 May from 1 until 4pm.

Meet our 200+ animals, consisting of horses, ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats and cats. Plus, we have many stalls selling gifts, books and bric-a-brac.

Enjoy a Cream Tea at our Open Day, with two plain scones, butter, jam and clotted cream, and your choice of tea and coffee. £15 per person including entry. Online booking is preferred to minimise administration in our office but, if you cannot book online, you can do so by telephoning Claire on 01277 356191 or email her at office@remussanctuary.org. Please book your Cream Tea a minimum of 48 hours in advance. 

Entry is just £7 for adults and £5 for children, or £15 to include the Cream Tea, per person.

Please note that the ground can be uneven, subject to the weather. We do provide a wheelchair accessible toilet and, if required, disabled parking is available near to the yard. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

If the weather is very wet the days prior to the event, then do double check with us that we will be able to open!

Terms and Conditions of Advance Ticket Purchase

1. Please bring a printed copy of your ticket receipt with you on the day, for all those that apply. We will retain the document.
2. We will also accept an online ticket as proof of purchase, on a smartphone or any other mobile device.
3. Refunds will not be offered under any circumstances unless we cancel the event due to inclement weather, in which case you will be able to use your ticket for the next date.
