Presentations and Talks

Audio Visual Talks about the Work of Remus Horse Sanctuary

We have three separate talks and would be delighted to come and present to your schools, clubs, groups and care homes, about the important rescue and rehabilitation work that Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary provides; there’s always many light-hearted stories about our animals too!

We suggest you start with Talk 1 and progress through two and three subsequently to inform and educate your members and students. If you run or belong to any group, school or organisation where you have speakers and would like a lively and interactive talk, then please call or email to book.

If you are interested and would like to book a date, please contact the Remus office on tel: 01277 356191 or drop us an email to info@remussanctuary.org.

Talk One

This is a very interesting and popular talk with Power Point presentation about the work of the Sanctuary, the animals and our history from its humble beginnings in 1983. The talk is not all doom and gloom, it is lively and amusing in many ways, with light-hearted anecdotes relating to the animals. You will be given an intimate insight into the lives of our animals past and present; how they came to be with us, along with the workings and ethos of Remus Horse Sanctuary. You’ll also hear about our Holistic work with the animals and the conservation work that we do on our land.

Talk Two

If you have already enjoyed listening to Talk One and would like to hear more, why not consider booking up our second presentation. This talk will bring you new stories, the animals we have been able to rescue, you will hear how they have recovered from their former neglect or abuse and what we have been able to do to help them. Enjoy the funny stories of what they get up to!

Importantly, you will hear about the immense amount of work that we do regarding welfare, education and our efforts locally through our ‘Ponies in the Community’ and other participating schemes.

Talk Three

Enjoy a talk that will bring you right up to date with life at the Sanctuary. Stories not only of our newest animals but also updates on some of those you have already met in Talks One and Two. Learn how much effort and work is put into giving the animals every chance of a long and happy life.
