HEALTHY HORSE EQUINAR – FROM FOAL TO VETERAN

Ingatestone, Essex – Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary’s, annual education seminar will be taking place on Sunday 27 September at The Holiday Inn, Brentwood. The equinar will be the ideal opportunity for horse and donkey lovers and owners to learn about the needs of their horse, pony and donkeys – young and old – directly from the experts.

Early Bird Tickets are now available until month end at the discounted price of £30 and can be purchased online from the Remus website. Tickets will include light refreshments and a seminar handbook. Final timings to be confirmed, but likely to be 10am to 4pm.

Some of the top experts in their fields will be speaking on various topics including Equine Metabolic Syndrome, Laminitis, Dentition, Nutrition, Holistic Care, Colic, Cushing’s Disease and more.

Expert speakers already confirmed include:

  • Equine Orthopaedic Surgeon Mark Murrell
  • Equine Nutritionist Tracey Hammond
  • Animal Health Trust’s Dr Jo Ireland
  • Holistic Therapist and Zoopharmacognosist Dena Schwartz

Following the success of the 2014 seminar, Remus have extended the content to encompass not only the elderly horse, but foals too, thereby taking a much more holistic approach to the welfare and health of the horse whatever the age.

Sue Burton, founder of Remus Horse Sanctuary, said; “The speakers we have lined up for the seminar are all experts in their fields and we’re still expecting two or three more. This year’s event will be even bigger and better and we’re really looking forward to the day. I’m sure all pony, horse and donkey owners will find this a really enjoyable and informative event.”
