Below is a list of the volunteer roles at Remus which we need help with. If you can spare a few hours here or there or perhaps the odd afternoon, we would be so grateful.

Afternoon Tea Team people needed for 6 dates during the summer to set up and run our Afternoon Teas including serving/waitressing. The morning starts at 10am with set up and then guests arrive at 1.30/2pm with tea until 4pm, followed by clearing up. Hopefully you could be available for multiple dates. 6 people in total required.
Coffee Morning Team people needed for 6 dates of of the year to run our Coffee Mornings. Start at 9am to set up and then 10.30am to 12.30pm to serve, followed by clearing up. Hopefully you could be available for multiple dates. 6 people in total required.
Fundraising Team people as needed to take stalls out to the surrounding area to raise funds. Usually at weekends but not always. A total of 8 people required.
Yard Team 2 people per day Monday to Friday and Sunday to muck out, lay beds, sweep up etc. A 4 hour shift would last from 10-2pm. Previous experience is essential. One day a week is fine but if you can do more, that would be a bonus.
Enrichment Team 2 people per day, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday to groom, offer enrichment including socialisation, toys, games and observation. Previous experience essential. One day a week is fine but if you can do more, that would be a bonus.
Volunteer Welfare Watch Co-ordinator 1 person needed who can co-ordinate our welfare watch and ensure regular hotspots are monitored within Essex overseeing volunteer welfare watchers. Training provided.
Volunteer Welfare Watchers to monitor horses that we have concerns about in the area you choose to cover.
