Remus Carriage Experience Packages

We’re very excited to be offering some fabulous experience packages in conjunction with the Horse Drawn Carriage Company. 25% donation to the charity on every booking when you quote our reference. Here’s a taster of what will be on offer.

Carriage driving

Have a go at driving with our 1.5 hour lesson, drive either a single turnout or a pair of horses!

What the package includes:

• Introductions & safety run through
• Meet the horse(s)
• Learn about the carriages and harness
• Harness up the horse(s) and help “put to” the carriage
• 30-minute driving lesson where you will take the reins and drive by yourself
• Option to drive one horse or two with our country wagonette

Additional info:

• You can have a friend accompany you for the experience & sit in the carriage during your drive or share the experience with you
• Experiences take place across a private estate near East Grinstead, West Sussex
• You’ll need wellies or sensible flat shoes
• Experiences come in gift wrapped vouchers to make the perfect present!

Private champagne carriage drive

A beautiful, relaxing, open air carriage drive for two; picture trotting down a country lane in an original Barouche carriage with a magnificent matching pair of white horses, sipping on a glass of champagne.

What the package includes:

• Meet the carriage horses and watch them being “put to” the carriage
• Enjoy a 40-minute, open air carriage drive along country lanes taking in the English countryside with a bottle of Champagne.

Additional info:

• The carriage has a half hood which we can raise if required
• Experiences take place across a private estate near East Grinstead, West Sussex
• We provide exquisite soft, cosy blankets to snuggle into in the cooler months

Private carriage drive with a champagne & country picnic

A beautiful, relaxing, open air carriage drive for two; picture trotting down a country lane in a vintage Barouche carriage with a magnificent matching pair of white horses, sipping on a glass of champagne. Followed by a picnic in the countryside at your own private picnic spot with a luxury hamper packed full of tasty local produce.

What the package includes:

• Meet the carriage horses and watch them being “put to” the carriage
• Enjoy a 40-minute, open air carriage drive with a chilled bottle of champagne along country lanes taking in the English countryside
• Relax in your own private picnic spot with a day bed, table & chairs, canopy for shelter / shade and enjoy a luxury hamper packed with local produce
