When this lovely donkey came to Remus it was clear that something was very wrong with him. Poor Davey had a life-threatening penile tumour and was in urgent need of radical surgery in order to save his life, involving removal of the entire penile area. The surgery was estimated to cost around £5,000, a huge amount of money for us. We started an appeal to save him and we are just so grateful to everyone who donated to it. Davey had his operation and has never looked back, he has a very happy life now and will stay with his donkey friends forever. He is best friends with Harvey and they are always playing together.
