Winston was found at an illegal travellers’ sale, standing alone in a dirty trailer, terrified and extremely thin.
When we got Winston back to the Sanctuary, blood tests revealed that he had severe liver problems due to ragwort poisoning. He had been kept in a field full of ragwort with nothing else available and so he was forced to eat it. He has come on well thankfully and thoroughly enjoys his life at Remus.
