Remus Shop FAQ’s
We have tried to ensure that our online shop is as simple to use as possible. However, we recognise that sometimes people have queries that we haven’t foreseen or occasionally something goes wrong! Below we have tried to anticipate such queries, but if you find something is broken or not working as it should, then please do get in touch and drop an email explaining your query to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As the Remus website was replaced in October 2015, you will need to create a new account to place an order via the online shop, or subscription for either sponsorship or membership. Your login details from the old site will not work.
You will require a username, a password and an email address to receive details of your order’s confirmation and delivery. We suggest you make a note of each somewhere safe.
You will need to create an account before you can checkout.
If you lose your password or have forgotten your username, please click on the link ‘Lost your password?’ enter your username (if you know it) or your email address that you used when you created the account. You will then receive an email with a link, asking you to create a new password. The email will contain your user name.
You can pay for your online shop items either via a debit/credit card or via PayPal. After you complete the Billing and Delivery details, simply press the ‘Proceed to Payment’ button – having remembered to tick the box confirming you have read our Terms and Conditions – this will direct you to the payment gateway.
If you wish to pay via PayPal simply login using your Paypal details. If you don’t wish to pay by PayPal, click on the link ‘Pay with a debit or credit card’. You can then select your card type and proceed in line with the instructions.
Once payment has been made, you’ll be referred back to the Remus website.
PCI DSS Compliance
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB.
Online renewals for the subscription of membership and sponsorship are automated and will renew annually each anniversary.
If you would like to cancel the automatic renewal please visit your PayPal account or, if you do not have a PayPal account, the account of the credit or debit card that was used to make the initial payment. If the payment advice email refers to a ‘trial period’, please note this is purely a summary as it relates to the first year of subscription. If the subscription was ordered originally with other items, the payment advice email may refer to the total amount. However, only payment of the renewal subscription will be automated. Please note that if you paid for your order via a debit or credit card, the payment ‘gateway’ will still be PayPal.
